During the Unprecedented COVID Crises, it is absolutely clear that Science is the greatest saviour of the humanity. It is therefore responsibility of the present generation to produce more and more scientists or atleast more young people with the adequate knowledge of science. In India not many children are inclined to take the science stream particularly from rural schools, primarily because of lack of resources. This is wasting young talent from rural areas. Science can efficiently address the numerous challenges posed in the society, however there are not enough channels available to reach adequiate knowldge to children in right time. Vatsalya with its renewed vision is committed not only to become a viamedia for the promotion of science among poor rural children but also having built one of the best community science centre in its rural campus namely Vatsalya Udayan solely devoted to children from the poorest economic strata. Our target is first to attract the best of the human resources and equipment from all over the world. In this mission we are assured by best of the world scientists including noble laurate Frances Arnold to get involved. In the first three years our target is to rejuvenate the interest of 1000 children through its active outreach to neighborhood communities as well as institutions. We will take into cogniznce all the possible stakeholders. We HAVE CURRENTLY created a unique single floor building of 1600 square feet area – which will be divided into 3 sections – 1. Physics Section 2. Biology Section 3. Chemistry section. This will be a beautiful integration of a platform for experimentation as well as demonstration
The physics Section will include but not limited to – Space and cosmology , classical mechanics, Optics, electrodynamics; the chemistry section will include organic and inorganic, bio and geochemistry, materials science; and the biology section will include Microbiology, Anatomy of organisms, zoology as well as botany – evolutionary biology
You are free to contact Mr. Kartikey Gupta (Chief Technical Officer and Passion Director, Vatsalya) whose brainchild is this target project, at kartikey@vatsalya.org or +91-9928146197 for any questions or clarifications, and even PHOTOS, if you are interested in contributing anyway. Kartikey himself is a mechanical engineer who believes that the fight against climate change, anthropologically caused extreme events, and poverty can be won by the right grounded initiatives and the right awareness, especially in the next generation. He is responsible for all of Vatsalya's environmental initiatives and frequently collaborates with scientists from around the world. He is playing the pivotal role in brining upon all the world renouned sceintists to support in his mission. Since the students are very poor, and their parents cannot afford to pay, we plan to invest Rs 3000 per students for three years. The initial plan is to cover 1000 stsudents in three years. Therefore the total initial cost is Rs 3000*1000= Rs 3,000,000
